Anthony Mauriello, EA, is more than an accountant — he’s the driving force behind My Tax Fella. Since founding the firm in 2001, Anthony has transformed what began as a small tax preparation business into a trusted full-service accounting and advisory firm with multiple locations across New York and New Jersey, proudly serving more than 7,000 clients. Known for his approachable style and deep industry expertise, Anthony has spent over two decades helping individuals, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses navigate the complexities of taxes and financial management with confidence. As an Enrolled Agent authorized to represent clients before the IRS, he combines strategic insight with hands-on support to deliver practical solutions and measurable results. At the core of Anthony’s philosophy is a simple belief: accounting shouldn’t feel intimidating. Through personalized guidance, proactive tax planning, and a commitment to building lasting relationships, he has built a brand centered on trust, education, and empowerment. Whether helping a business optimize cash flow, guiding clients through tax strategy, or simplifying the financial process, Anthony brings energy, clarity, and a people-first approach to everything he does.

Roxanne Bongiovanni is a seasoned financial and operational executive with more than 20 years of experience across investment management, alternative investments, compliance, accounting, and strategic business operations. She currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at My Tax Fella, where she oversees operational strategy, financial management, process improvement, and organizational growth initiatives. Throughout her career, Roxanne has held senior leadership roles including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer, managing accounting, finance, compliance, tax, and operational functions for multi-strategy platforms with billions in assets under management. In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Roxanne is actively involved in nonprofit and community initiatives, serving on nonprofit boards and supporting organizations focused on advocacy and community engagement. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, operational expertise, and ability to build scalable infrastructure that drives long-term growth and efficiency. Roxanne earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John's University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business.

Samantha Losurdo Volpe serves as the Director of Business Growth at My Tax Fella, where she is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service with positivity, professionalism, and a client-first approach. A graduate of Monmouth University with a degree in Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations, Samantha brings a strong background in communications, media, and client engagement. Prior to joining the firm, Samantha served as head editor for an online publication and contributed to multiple media outlets, further strengthening her expertise in public relations and strategic communication. She is known for her strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and passion for creating meaningful client experiences while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.

Carmella Chicola serves as the Director of Human Resources & Administrative Operations at My Tax Fella, based out of our Nelson Avenue (Bradshore) office. With more than a decade of experience in the accounting industry, she brings extensive expertise in human resources, administrative leadership, operational management, and organizational efficiency. Carmella plays a vital role in overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations, supporting employee development, streamlining internal processes, and ensuring an exceptional client experience through her attention to detail and strong leadership. In addition to her leadership in accounting operations, Carmella is a licensed New York State career school educator, where she has helped aspiring professionals build the skills and confidence needed to advance their careers. Known for her collaborative leadership style, adaptability, and dedication to continuous improvement, Carmella is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting the firm's growth and long-term success.

Timothy Audet is the manager of the Tax Department at My Tax Fella, and has been a key part of the team since 2022. After graduating from the College of Staten Island with his Bachelors in Accounting, he worked as a teacher and accounting professional with H&R Block. With his strong background in accounting and tax, he provides expert advice, professionalism, and peace of mind to our clients. He's the first call when a return needs a status, a notice needs a plan, or a client needs a straight answer.

Mary Nagy serves as CFO & Integrator at My Tax Fella and has been an integral part of the firm since 2018. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mary began her career in financial services, advancing into leadership roles within financial control and financial analysis before taking time to focus on raising her family and community involvement. Known for her strong organizational leadership and collaborative approach, Mary plays a key role in overseeing firm operations, financial management, and strategic execution, helping drive efficiency, accountability, and long-term growth across the organization.

With over 20 years of experience supporting accounting professionals, Melissa brings a deep understanding of client coordination, payroll, and sales tax processes. Known for her strong communication skills and friendly, approachable manner, she has built lasting relationships with clients by being reliable, responsive and dedicated. She takes pride in ensuring that all client needs are met with accuracy and care, while helping accounting teams operate smoothly and efficiently. Her commitment to professionalism and collaboration makes her a trusted point of contact in the team. Besides work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Alba is a valued member of My Tax Fella’s accounting team, bringing expertise in taxes and general accounting. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kean University, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration in 2021. Before joining our team, she spent four years working alongside a CPA, gaining hands-on experience in tax preparation and financial management. Outside of work, Alba enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Dara Epstein is a senior accountant and highly experienced tax professional with over 20 years in the financial industry. Her career began on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, where she developed a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and numerical analysis. She earned her Enrolled Agent (EA) designation in 2013 and became a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist in 2014. Dara is a proud member of both the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and is recognized by the IRS for her professional expertise and commitment to the community. Known for her strategic problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, Dara specializes in helping clients navigate complex tax situations with clarity and confidence. Outside of the office, she is an avid animal lover and music enthusiast who enjoys staying active through extreme sports — a reflection of the same energy and focus she brings to her work.

Lina is a dedicated member of My Tax Fella’s accounting team, bringing 18 years of experience in the field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of Staten Island and specializes in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and filing sales and payroll tax returns for businesses and individuals. Outside of work, Lina enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Jeff has been with My Tax Fella since 2021 as an accountant and bookkeeper. He has his Bachelor of Accounting from NJCU and Master of Taxation from Rutgers. He has 12 years in tax preparation, accounting and bookkeeping services under his belt. Jeff also helps with providing financial advice and recommendations on what to do to better your situation. Outside of the office, he enjoys family trips and hanging out with friends.

Hanh is a bookkeeper at My Tax Fella, bringing seven years of experience in various accounting departments. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Vietnam before continuing her education at the College of Staten Island, where she obtained a second degree in Accounting. She is currently preparing to take the CPA exam next year. Passionate about helping others understand accounting and taxes, Hanh enjoys working out, playing tennis, and traveling with her family in her free time.

Mike joined My Tax Fella’s bookkeeping team in October 2024, bringing experience from various accounting firms and private company bookkeeping. He earned his Bachelor’s in Education from St. John’s University and has also prepared individual tax returns, though he found his passion in full-time bookkeeping. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as logic puzzles and cross-stitching.

Gabrielle comes to My Tax Fella with years of payroll experience and is ready to help wherever she can. She currently helps with onboarding new clients and getting their payroll running smoothly. As a new stay-at-home mom, Gabrielle enjoys spending her free time with her husband, son, and their crazy puppy, Georgie. She especially loves summertime and spends most of it at her family’s shore house and on the beach.

Ravi specializes in payroll setup and processing, sales tax registration and filing, and bookkeeping for clients. He also assists with financial statements, CPA review reports, PPP loan applications, and Workers' Compensation audits. With prior experience as a Controller, Ravi has a strong background in general accounting, payroll, and financial management. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening, and cherishes time with his wife and two kids.

Jo Ann has worked at My Tax Fella for the past 18 years, now mainly working on payroll and audits. Any problem with unemployment, workers comp and disability audits, notices from the IRS or various states, and RPIE filings — she is your go-to. Over the years, she has worked on bookkeeping, sales tax, a political campaign, and numerous other jobs. She is a widow with two successful sons: a Project Manager in the HVAC industry and the Pastor of Blessed Trinity Parish in Breezy Point, Queens, NY. Jo loves working on computers and programs, is an avid reader, and loves spending time in PA at her house.

Jessica is an Administrative Assistant at My Tax Fella, bringing strong organizational skills and a passion for helping others. She studied Nursing at East Stroudsburg University before earning her Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University. Prior to joining the team, she worked as an Executive Assistant for a general contracting firm in Red Bank before stepping into the role of full-time mom. An active volunteer and former PTO board member, Jessica is a creative multitasker who loves traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and two Great Danes.

With over six years at My Tax Fella, Danielle Nuzzolo keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She began her career at just 20 years old in New York’s Financial District, gaining valuable experience on Wall Street. After taking time off to raise her twins, she returned to the workforce as an administrative assistant at an accounting firm in Red Bank, NJ, before joining our team. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and embracing a healthy lifestyle.

Lexiss is an administrative assistant with a background in both the medical field and the arts. With strong organizational skills and a creative mindset, Lexiss brings a unique blend of structure and innovation to their work. Outside of the office, they enjoy practicing various forms of art and exploring creative expression.

Ray is the friendly face of our Red Bank office, assisting clients with scheduling, paperwork, and inquiries. With over 40 years in international banking, he retired as a Director at a French bank in NYC before spending 11 years as an assistant manager at Williams-Sonoma in Shrewsbury. Married with two children and four grandchildren, Ray enjoys music, watercolor painting, cooking, and quality time with his grandkids.

Paige has been with the My Tax Fella team since 2022, and is the Front Desk Receptionist at our Driggs Street location. Over the years, she has had her hand in a few different jobs but her favorite will always be being a mom to her twin daughters. At Driggs, she helps schedule appointments, review letters we receive, and maintains the office as a whole. Outside of work, Paige loves spending time with her family and friends.

Since joining My Tax Fella in December 2020, Dawn has been the friendly and knowledgeable face welcoming clients while also managing supplies and inventory at our Staten Island Bradshore location. She began her career on Wall Street at 19, later taking time off to raise her four children while also working as a hairdresser and retail manager. A true multitasker, Dawn takes on any challenge head-on. In her free time, she enjoys family time, the gym, cooking, and volunteering.

Lorenzo started at Mauriello Enterprises the way most people start in a family business — handling DocuSign requests, administrative tasks, and whatever the day demanded. Working alongside his father, Anthony, gave him a perspective few get early in their career: what it actually means to work both in a business and on one. Doing the day-to-day work firsthand revealed to him his passion. Today, Lorenzo builds the technology that makes the firm easier to work with — and easier to work at. He designs the website, manages the CRM that powers client intake and communication, and develops the marketing that keeps clients informed year-round. Every system he builds serves the same two goals: clients who get faster answers, smoother onboarding, and a seamless experience from first contact to final delivery — and a team freed from busywork so they can spend their time where it matters most: taking care of clients.
